Privacy Policy – AiryCleaner

Thank you for choosing AiryCleaner. Your trust matters to us, and this Privacy Policy explains in detail how we handle your information. We use a clear Q&A style to make things easy to understand.

Do you collect my personal data?

AiryCleaner’s features run entirely on your device. When the app scans for ad caches, outdated APK files, residual folders, or temporary files, the processing is performed locally. We do not need to collect your personal identity details (such as your name, email, or contacts) for these functions.

However, to ensure the app works properly and continues to improve, we may rely on limited third-party services (see below). These services may gather technical information like device model, operating system, crash logs, and app usage trends.

Do you use third-party platforms?

Yes. AiryCleaner may integrate third-party technologies to help us:

  1. Attribution Platforms – to understand how users install and engage with the app.
  2. Analytics Platforms – to measure performance, identify issues, and optimize features.
  3. Firebase (Google LLC) – for crash reporting, performance monitoring, and aggregated analytics.

Important: We never sell your personal data. Any data that these partners process is primarily for app functionality and improvement, and where possible, it is anonymized or aggregated.

Who ensures my data is protected?

We have designated a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who is responsible for safeguarding your privacy and ensuring compliance with data protection laws:

Name: Emily Johnson

Email: idriss.developer.ma@gmail.com

Our DPO is your main point of contact if you have questions or wish to exercise your rights.

What rights do I have as a user?

You have strong rights regarding your personal data. These include:

  1. Access: You can ask for a copy of the personal data that may be associated with you.
  2. Rectification: You may request corrections if your data is inaccurate or incomplete.
  3. Know if Data Is Shared: You can ask whether your information has been shared with third parties, and for what purposes.
  4. Know if Data Is Sold: You can request to know if your data has ever been sold. (We do not sell data.)
  5. Opt-Out of Sharing: You may limit or refuse the sharing of information with third-party services by changing app or device settings, or by contacting our DPO.
  6. Deletion: You may request deletion of your data at any time. We will complete this within 30 days of your request.
  7. Complaint: If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may submit a complaint to your local Data Protection Authority.

How long is my data retained?

We only keep data for as long as it serves the purpose described:

  1. Analytics/Attribution Data: Up to 24 months, to evaluate app trends and improve performance.
  2. Crash Reports/Performance Logs: Up to 12 months, for stability and troubleshooting.
  3. User Requests for Deletion: Processed and permanently erased within 30 days of confirmation.

After these retention periods, the information is securely deleted or anonymized.

On what legal basis is my data processed?

Depending on the type of data, AiryCleaner relies on different legal bases:

  1. Consent: When you agree to optional analytics or tracking features.
  2. Legitimate Interests: For essential app stability, troubleshooting, and performance improvements.
  3. Legal Obligations: When laws require data retention (for example, if requested by regulators).

How can I opt out of data sharing or selling?

AiryCleaner does not sell personal data. However, you can choose to reduce or stop sharing with third parties by:

  1. Turning off analytics and personalization in your device settings.
  2. Contacting our DPO to request restriction or deletion of third-party data linked to your device.

What if I want to delete my data completely?

You may send a request to our DPO at idriss.developer.ma@gmail.com. Once verified, we will delete your data within 30 days and provide confirmation. Please note that after deletion, we cannot recover any of this information.

What happens if I have a complaint?

You always have the right to contact your local supervisory authority. For example:

In the European Union, you may reach out to your national Data Protection Authority.

In the United States, you may contact the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or your state authority.

We encourage you to contact our DPO first so we can address your concerns quickly.

Will this Privacy Policy change?

Yes. We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect improvements or legal requirements. If changes occur, we will notify you inside the app or provide a notice in the next update.
